Stephen I. Vladek, J.D., Charles Alan Wright Chair in Federal Courts, University of Texas School of Law, joins McCuistion Perspectives Host Jim Falk on how the Supreme Court is transforming America.

Each year, the Court issues dozens of opinions that impact our lives. As faith in the Court is shown to be declining, it is especially important that we better understand why the Court matters as a vital institution upholding our democracy.

Our guest and host discuss the recent leak of the Roe vs. Wade decision, the Biden Presidential Commission, which was implemented to explore reforms – including term limits for justices, the court’s present composition, and its expanding role on issues.

As our colleague, Raymond J. Termini reminds us, “Under the U.S. Constitution, the Supreme Court is charged with ensuring equal justice under the law to the American people.” Yet, is it doing so?

Join us for an expert’s look at our Supreme Court and its impact on society.
