Neil Foley is a Southern Methodist University Professor and the Robert H. and Nancy Dedman Chair in History. He is also the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands/Immigration Legal and Labor and Political History of the American Southwest. In addition he is the author of Mexicans and the Making of America.
He graduated from the University of Virginia, from Georgetown University with an M.A., and from the University of Michigan, with an M.A. and Ph.D. in American Culture in 1990. He taught at Humboldt University of Berlin. He previously taught at the University of Texas at Austin. He began teaching at Southern Methodist University in August 2012. [Wikipedia 02.08.2015]
