Jared Richardson is Senior Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Energy Future Holdings Corp. (formerly TXU Corp). During his time with the company, he has been involved in virtually all aspects of corporate governance and corporate secretary matters, including regulatory compliance, proxy statement preparation, director recruiting and creation of internal policies on a variety of topics. He has also handled a broad range of general corporate law matters for the company, including mergers, divestitures, SEC disclosures and subsidiary management. Prio to joining the company in 2004, he worked in the corporate and securities section of the law firm of Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP (now Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP) in its Dallas office.
