According to Mr. Moore the economic situation COVID- 19 has created is potentially catastrophic.
Oil companies are struggling. Oil is already a boom or bust industry and right now oil companies are experiencing a tough patch, which will affect the economy overall. Additionally, the Saudis and Russia are “scheming” to put our oil and gas industry out of business.
Mr. Moore offers suggestions on the need for short term relief and temporary loans, yet he is very concerned about our debt situation and our overloaded resources. Part of his concern is the power government is taking regarding curfews, closures, and of course the additional debt it cannot afford.
Quoting Ronald Reagan, he advises that we must stop looking at government as our solution when it is the source of our problems.
